Imitation of Septuagintal Narrative and Greek Historiography in the Portrait of Holofernes (22-54)


 
 
This is a terrific article in "A Pious Seductress" studies on allusions to earlier biblical characters in the Book of Judith and also echoes of Greek historiography therein, despite the author Fr. Jeremy Corley's view, alas, that the Book of Judith is a work of pious fiction.
